I want peace, harmony, love, unity
I want calm, tranquility, honesty in my life.
I want tenderness in a strangers touch
a beauty not allowed between some of us
that I need so much in my life

This is my religion
one that's so divine you may wanna join mine
This is my religion and it suits me fine

I want freedom in humanity, justice and equality
I want all that is good, to be in my life
I would fall down on my knees, subjugate myself,
If it would please, if it would bring paradise.

And this is my religion

This is my religion. Mmmmmmmmm and it fits me fine

I don't believe in heaven, I don't believe in hell
or in all of the indignities between, so many I can't tell
where they began, or where they end,
or where I let go, I guess it's just as well.
